Key losses: Everyone
Outlook: As always, the Golden Eagles turn over their entire roster, but have earned the benefit of the doubt when it comes to putting together a strong team.
Whatever Masden is doing with that program is working. The team has not had a losing season since 2008, and even ended Pahranagat Valley’s 104-game winning streak to win the state title in 2016. This season he’ll have a new crop of players and with a favorable schedule, don’t be surprised to see Spring Mountain near the top of the standings once again.
“The 2018 version of the Golden Eagles football will bring an improved team speed and physicality across the board in all phases,” Masden said. “Despite having to rebuild each year with an entirely new group of players, the Golden Eagles look to lean upon recent tradition and a large group of upperclassmen focused on hard work and competition.”
