Outlook: Western snapped a 43-game losing streak with a win over Rancho last season, but then lost its final eight games.

Still, Dailey is upbeat as his first season begins. He will be Western’s sixth head coach since 2008, and third in the past three seasons.

“After getting our first win in almost a decade, interest of football has sparked a changing tradition at Western,” Dailey said.

Cisneros was a second-team All-Sunset League pick last season on the offensive line and should be a key contributor on offense.

The Warriors scored a total of 65 points last season while allowing 363.

“We have a lot of young guys that are committed, willing to lay the wood and guys that can score on both sides,” Dailey said. “We are going to shock a lot of teams and make playoffs.”
