Agassi Prep uses ground game to down Knights

Agassi Prep running back Steven Burgess rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns Friday to lead the Stars to a 41-0 win over Quest Academy at Rancho.

Agassi Prep (6-2, 5-2 Division IV Southern) scored four rushing touchdowns in the game and did not attempt a pass.

Along with Burgess, running backs Stephan Laschaul and Nicholas Smith each ran for a score. The Stars took control of the game on the opening kickoff when Zeivaun Ned returned it 53 yards for a touchdown.

The Agassi Prep defense was dominant as well holding, Quest (0-7) 13 yards of offense and three first downs.

Kameron Burrell returned an interception for a touchdown for the Agassi Prep's other score.
