Calvary Chapel football forfeits to Lincoln County

Calvary Chapel has forfeited its Friday football game to Lincoln County, representatives from both schools said Thursday.
It's the second time in three weeks the Lions have forfeited.
The Lions forfeited their Sept. 11 game to Agassi Prep. That came a week after a 46-0 loss to The Meadows in a game that was halted in the third quarter.
Calvary Chapel dropped a 33-20 decision to Lake Mead last week.
The Lions started the season with only 16 players, including four freshmen, on their roster.
Lincoln County will have played only three of its first five scheduled games. The Lynx had their scheduled season-opener on Aug. 28 against Quest Academy canceled because of low participation numbers for the Knights.
