Koopman, Eagles roll past Chargers

Boulder City's D.J. Koopman rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries as the Eagles (4-0) beat visiting Clark (0-4) 51-0 on Friday.

Koopman scored on runs of 64, 11 and 59 yards.

Boulder City’s Joe Miller passed for 49 yards, connecting with Michael Kelso twice for 40 yards, including an 11-yard TD in the first quarter.

Corbett Fleming returned the second-half kickoff 88 yards for a score for the Eagles.

Xavier Steel ran for 52 yards on seven carries for Boulder City, and teammates J.D. Owens and Sam Woodbury scored on runs of 6 and 17 yards, respectively.

Kareem Warren led Clark with 46 yards on six carries.
