Mojave forfeits game against Sunrise Mountain

Mojave High School has forfeited its Sept. 14 non-league football game against Sunrise Mountain, the Clark County School District athletics office announced Friday.

The Rattlers used an ineligible player in a 25-12 road victory against the Miners. As a result, the team’s record dropped from 4-2 overall to 3-3.

Sunrise Mountain improved to 2-3, pending the outcome of its game against Desert Pines. Mojave was idle Friday after defeating Western, 59-15 on Thursday night.
