Nofoa’s perfect night too much for Miners

Travis Nofoa was 7-for-7 passing for 243 yards and five touchdowns Friday to help Desert Pines to a 48-7 win at Sunrise Mountain.

Nofoa threw TD passes of 76 and 12 yards to Donavan Wright, 45 to SaDarius Clayton, 6 to Tim Hough and 85 to Malik Davis.

Iquan Corsey returned an interception 46 yards for a score in the first quarter for the Jaguars (3-3, 1-1 I-A Sunrise).

A’Keem Ross scored on a 9-yard run for Sunrise Mountain (2-4, 0-2) with 49 seconds remaining.
