O’Connor tosses five TD passes as Lynx top Battle Mountain

McClain O'Connor completed 18 of 20 passes for 184 yards and five touchdowns Friday to help Lincoln County's football team defeat visiting Battle Mountain, 39-13.

Cody Thornock had four receptions for 39 yards and two touchdowns to lead Lincoln County (4-1), which got TD receptions from Mike Wood, Derek Mathews and Zach Florence.

Mathews also had a rushing score, and Will Culverwell contributed 68 rushing yards on 14 carries for the Lynx.

Battle Mountain is 3-2.
