Porter carries Agassi Prep to 48-6 win

DeVonn Porter rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead Agassi Prep’s football team to a season-opening 48-6 win over Abundant Life (Utah) at Rancho High.
Porter needed just nine carries to rack up the big numbers as the Stars never looked back after taking a 28-6 halftime lead and matched their win total from last season when they finished 1-7.
Tank Carter added 111 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. He also scored four 2-point conversions.
Terrell Kemp completed just two passes — touchdown strikes to LeShawn Sims and Curtis Watson.
Keveon Glenn also had a rushing TD for the Stars, who allowed just 117 total yards and registered a safety.
