RECRUITING: Silverado’s Graham plans to commit to UCLA

Silverado High School senior football player Keenan Graham plans to commit to UCLA when he makes his official visit Friday, the defensive end said Monday.

The 6-foot-3-inch, 220-pound Graham, who is ranked the No. 2 overall prospect in Nevada by Rivals.com, made official visits to Nebraska, Wisconsin and Colorado.

He made an unofficial visit to UCLA last spring, and said a key since was that Bruins head coach Rick Neuheisel has been more personally involved than coaches at other schools.

“I plan on committing to UCLA on Friday,” said Graham, who told Neuheisel of his decision last week. “When I get there along with some other guys who are going to commit as well, we can help turn things around, and it would be awesome to be part of that.”
