Spring Mountain posts third straight shutout

Da’Juan Brown had a hand in five touchdowsns on Saturday as Spring Mountain rolled to a 72-0 home win over Trona (California).

Brown rushed for 116 yards and three scores on just four carries. He had TD runs of 52, 15 and 36 yards. He also completed 2 of 3 passes for 56 yards and two TDs. He had a 42-yard scoring pass to Malik Powell, and a 14-yard TD toss to Ear’Zaybione Brown.

Powell also had a TD run, as did Azarias Roberson, Kadreion Payne and Chris Mosely for the Golden Eagles.

Spring Mountain (3-1) has outscored its last three opponents 217-0 following a 48-40 loss to Bloomington Christian (California) to open the season.
