Tabor Maxwell, Panthers hand Diamondbacks first loss

Pahranagat Valley's Tabor Maxwell threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns and ran for a score to lead the Panthers to a 54-20 home win over Beaver Dam on Friday.

Maxwell completed 11 of 15 passes and threw all four of his scoring passes in the first quarter as Pahranagat Valley (4-0, 2-0 Division IV Southern League) built a 40-0 lead.

Maxwell found Christian Higbee on a 75-yard scoring play to start the game and followed it up with scoring strikes of 75 yards to Shawn Wadsworth, 25 yards to Cody Williams and 25 yards to Wadsworth. He also had a 24-yard TD run in the second quarter.

David Ingram had a 20-yard TD run, and Brodey Maxwell had a 13-yard TD run for the Panthers.

The Diamondbacks fell to 3-1, 1-1 in the league.
