Trailblazers rack up 374 yards, rout Bengals

Durango's Marcus Sanders-Williams gained 127 yards on only seven carries, including touchdowns of 5, 26 and 75 yards, to power the No. 9 Trailblazers to a 54-7 road win over Bonanza in the opener for both teams.

Arie McQuaig ran for 124 yards and two scores for Durango (1-0, 1-0 Northwest). The Traiblazers compiled a 374-139 yardage edge over Bonanza (0-1, 0-1).

Brett Neighbors returned the second-half kickoff 98 yards for a Durango touchdown, and Gene Germain returned a fumble 59 yards for a fourth-quarter score.

Bonanza’s Brett Doyle threw a 40-yard TD pass to Colton Bennion on the game’s final play, and all 119 of his passing yards were to Bennion.
