2017 Chaparral Boys Golf Capsule

CHAPARRAL

Head coach: Chris Brody, third season

Returning lettermen: Five

Top golfers: Danny Hubley (Jr.), Josue Marin (So.), Adrian Garcia (Sr.)

Outlook: The Cowboys bring back five lettermen, including Hubley (104 average), Marin (105) and Garcia (106).

“We are working on consistency and focus this year,” Brody said. “Each golfer needs to prepare for each round and make adjustments. Our goal is to keep our team average close to regional contention and to reduce the scores of all of our golfers.

“We want to have fun but be competitive.”
