Outlook: Abbott placed sixth in last year’s Class 4A state tournament and is among six returning lettermen for the Gaels, who are hoping to qualify for state as a team for the first time since 2014.

“With a healthy mix of old and new players, this will be the year the team returns to the state championship,” Stanfill said.
