Baek leads Diamondbacks to win in Southwest match

Soungjae Baek carded a 2-over-par 74 at Highland Falls on Wednesday to lead Desert Oasis’ boys golf team to a win in a Southwest League match.

The Diamondbacks posted a team score of 406. Bishop Gorman was second at 418, followed by Pahrump Valley at 460 and Spring Valley at 470.

Hayden Munns and Niko Gonnella each added a 76 for Desert Oasis.

Pahrump’s Dorian Patel took medalist honors with a 73.

Gorman’s Frank Frisbee shot 75 to lead the Gaels.

Sky Pointe's Drake Harvey is a member of the Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada boys golf team.
