Class 2A: Kevin Inthachack guides The Meadows to 18-hole lead

Kevin Inthachack carded a 1-over-par 73 at Boulder City Municipal on Wednesday to help The Meadows grab the lead at the midway point of the Class 2A boys golf tournament.

Inthachack is one stroke off the lead held by North Tahoe’s Murphy Scott entering Thursday’s final round.

Veronica Joels added a 78 for the Mustangs and is in third place individually.

Justin Finseth shot 84 for The Meadows, which finished as the runner-up last year and is seeking its first state title since 2006.

Defending champion Lake Mead is in second place in the team standings at 340. Greg Herrero shot 84, Jake Butcher and Kai Madela each shot 85, and Marcus Dolinar carded an 86 for the Eagles.

North Tahoe is third at 357, six shots ahead of Whittell. Needles is fifth at 390.

The final round begins at 11 a.m. Thursday.
