Coronado’s McInerney wins Las Vegas Junior Open

Coronado’s A.J. McInerney shot a 4-under-par 68 on Thursday to rally for the title at the Las Vegas Junior Open at Anthem Country Club.

McInerney, who trailed by one shot after two rounds, finished at 215, three shots ahead of second-round leader Tad Murray of La Quinta, Calif.

Coronado’s Tad Darland, who was tied with McInerney after two rounds, finished in a tie for sixth at 222.
