Cougars roll to win in Southeast match

Coronado had five golfers shoot in the 70s Wednesday at Stallion Mountain as the Cougars rolled to victory in a Southeast League match.

Ethan Bozner shot par 72 to earn medalist honors and lead Coronado, which shot 385 as a team.

Dylan Fritz added a 77, Joey Dotta shot 78, and Grant McKay and Jalen Hodges each shot 79 for the Cougars.

Foothill was second at 439, followed by Green Valley (511) and Basic (548).

Green Valley’s Ty Klabacka was second individually with a 76, and Foothill’s Noah MacFawn shot 77.

Trent, Panthers roll

At TPC Las Vegas, Jack Trent shot 3-under 68 to lead Palo Verde to a 371-453 win over Pahrump Valley.

Cameron Barzekoff shot 71, Jett Isoda carded a 76, and Joseph Ender and Jun Oshimoto each shot 78 for Palo Verde.
