DIII GOLF: Meadows’ Inthachack claims individual title

The Meadows’ Kevin Inthachack shot 2-over-par 74 Thursday to claim the Division III Southern League tournament title at Highland Falls.

Inthachack finished two strokes ahead of Lake Mead’s Nick Herrero. Needles’ Joe Garcia was third, and he led his team to the team title.

Needles finished with a team score of 446, one stroke ahead of The Meadows. Lake Mead was third at 450. All three teams advance to next week’s state tournament.

White Pine’s Collin Young finished fourth individually with an 84, and Needles’ Brendan Lainhart shot 85 to place fifth.
