DIVISION III GOLF: The Meadows’ Inthachack places fourth in state meet

The Meadows sophomore Kevin Inthachack shot a 4-over-par 76 at Mountain Falls in Pahrump on Wednesday to finish fourth in the Division III state boys golf tournament.

Inthachack had a 36-hole total of 149 and helped the Mustangs to a third-place finish in the team standings.

Incline’s Mitchell Cornell shot 67 on Wednesday to win the individual title. Cornell had a two-round total of 136 to defeat Yerington’s Griffin Cooper by two strokes.

White Pine’s Collin Young finished third at 148.

Lake Mead’s Nick Herrero was fifth at 150.

North Tahoe won the team title with a score of 873.

Inclince matched The Meadows at 888, but the Highlanders placed second on a sixth-man tiebreaker. Lake Mead was fourth at 899, four strokes better than Needles.
