Dylan Fritz, Coronado rally to win Southern Nevada Invitational

Dylan Fritz fired 6-under-par 66 on Wednesday at Southern Highlands as Coronado’s boys golf team rallied to win the Southern Nevada Invitational.

Fritz finished with a two-day total of 143 to win the individual title.

The Cougars shot 291 on Wednesday, finishing at 604. Bellarmine College Prep (California), which led by seven shots after the first round, finished two strokes back, with Faith Lutheran third at 629.

Coronado’s Benjamin Sawaia finished at 150, and teammate Brett Sodetz added a 152.

Bellarmine’s Berk Harvey shot 67 on Wednesday to place second at 145. Faith Lutheran’s Charlie Magruder and Bellarmine’s Austin Murphy tied for third at 147.
