GOLF: Branton, Aggies win Northwest match

Tyler Branton shot par 72 at Silverstone on Monday to help Arbor View’s boys golf team to victory in a Northwest League match.

The Aggies, who also got a 73 from Sam Dickey, had a team score of 369. Centennial was second with 447, and Desert Oasis was third with 495.

Cimarron-Memorial’s Brandon Smith was the medalist with a 68.

Crusaders win Sunset League match

At Canyon Gate, Charlie Magruder carded a 1-under 71 to lead Faith Lutheran to victory in a Sunset League match.

The Crusaders had a team score of 393. Pahrump Valley was second with 438, followed by Spring Valley with 482 and Clark with 561.

Sierra Vista’s George Kim shot 72.

Clark’s Arpepanya Phonsavanth had a 77.
