GOLF: Dylan Fritz leads Coronado to Southeast win

Dylan Fritz shot 1-under-par 71 on Thursday to lead Coronado to victory in a Southeast League match at Black Mountain.

Brett Sodetz added a 75, Benjamin Sawaia shot 76 and Logan Bleazard 78 for the Cougars.

Coronado shot 380 as a team, 34 strokes ahead of second-place Foothill. Silverado was third at 464.

Green Valley’s Ty Klabacka was second individually with a 73, and Foothill’s Jordan Hughett tied Sodetz for third at 75.

Boulder City coasts to Sunrise League win

Boulder City’s Kyler Atkinson shot 3-over 75 to take medalist honors, and the Eagles had five of the top six finishers to win a Sunrise League match at Boulder Creek.

Cade Neilson was third at 80 for Boulder City, followed by teammates Samu Jancuk (83) and Jackson Wright (87).

The Eagles finished with a team score of 413, and Moapa Valley was second at 563.

Virgin Valley’s Hogan Fowles shot 76 to finish second.
