GOLF: Gators top Wildcats, Pioneers for Northeast League win

Grayson Savio shot a 6-over-par 78 at Revere on Wednesday to guide Green Valley’s boys golf team to victory in a Northeast League match.

The Gators, who got 81s from Ty Klabacka and Jeffrey Mullins, had a team score of 426. Las Vegas was second at 489, followed by Canyon Springs at 556.

The Wildcats’ Trey Jensen was the medalist with a 76, and teammate Phoutpane Souksengdao shot 79.

Eagles win Sunrise League match

At The Palms, Christian Hudleson and Hunter Ulibarri each shot a 9-over 81 to help Boulder City win a Sunrise League match.

The Eagles, who got 82s from Kyler Atkinson and Luke Logan, had a team score of 410. Moapa Valley was second with 479, six strokes better than Virgin Valley.

The Bulldogs’ Keani Munford shot 86.

Crusaders take Sunset League match

At Angel Park, Dallas Haun and A.J. Johnson each shot 5-over 76 to help Faith Lutheran win a Sunset League match.

The Crusaders, who got a 79 from Mitch Conley, had a team score of 396. Pahrump Valley was second with 433, and Cheyenne was third with 521.

Pahrump’s Austen Ancell shot 78.

Western’s Raymond Falkenstein had an 81.

Cougars win Southeast League match

At Wildhorse, Coronado’s Bradley Keyer and Michael Kirby each shot 3-over 73 to lead the Cougars to a Southeast League match victory.

Coronado, which got a 76 from Travis Dickens, had a team score of 381. Foothill was second at 405, nine strokes better than Basic.

Foothill’s Andrew Chu shot a 74, and teammate Nick Grinder carded a 75.
