GOLF: Haun helps Crusaders capture Sunset League match

Dallas Haun carded an 8-over-par 80 at Canyon Gate on Monday as Faith Lutheran’s boys golf team took the top five spots and won a Sunset League match.

The Crusaders had a team score of 412. Pahrump Valley was second with 457, followed by Cheyenne (546), Western (584), Clark (596).

J.R. Tuls added an 81, and John Bowers and Alex Church each shot 83 for Faith Lutheran, which got an 85 from Andrew Boka.

Chu, Falcons top Gorman
At Tuscany, Andrew Chu carded a 3-under 33 to lead Foothill to a 178-187 win over Bishop Gorman.

Connor Bodin added a 34, and Taylor Montgomery shot 35 for the Falcons.

Frank Frisbee shot 34, and Christian James carded a 35 for the Gaels.

Gators down Eagles
At Legacy, Grayson Savio carded a 1-over 37 to earn medalist honors and help Green Valley to a 196-214 win over Boulder City.

Jordan Green added a 39, and Eddie Long and Mason Comastro each shot 40 for the Gators.

Kyle Effertz shot 40 for Boulder City.
