GOLF: Kirchner leads Skyhawks to Northeast win

Thomas Kirchner shot a 1-under-par 69 at Los Prados on Wednesday to lead Silverado’s boys golf team to victory in a Northeast League match.

Matthew McClure added a 71 for the Skyhawks, who shot 431 as a team. Liberty was second at 455, followed by Las Vegas (471) and Canyon Springs (537).

Las Vegas’ Trey Jensen also shot 71, and Liberty’s Jayrick Cadelina-Canyete shot 73.

Logan, Eagles win Sunrise match

At Wildhorse, Luke Logan shot 5-over 75 to earn medalist honors and lead Boulder City to victory in a Sunrise League match.

The Eagles had a team score of 425. Moapa Valley (472) was the only other team to post a score.

The Pirates’ Jacob Causey and Virgin Valley’s Keani Mumford both shot 77.
