GOLF: Logan, Boulder City win three-team meet

Luke Logan shot 2-over-par 74 on Wednesday to lead Boulder City’s golf team to victory in a Division I-A Sunrise League meet at Boulder City Municipal.

The Eagles had four of the top five golfers, and shot 407 to win the meet. Virgin Valley (477) was second and Moapa Valley (488) third.

Boulder City’s Christian Hudleson was second at 76. Kyler Atkinson shot 81, and Kyle Effertz had an 82 for the Eagles.

Moapa Valley’s Jacob Causey shot 80.

Cougars top Crusaders

At Anthem, Coronado’s Michael Kirby carded a 1-under 35 to earn medalist honors and help the Cougars to a 190-198 win over Faith Lutheran.

Bradley Keyer shot 36 for Coronado.

Faith Lutheran’s A.J. Johnson fired a 38.
