GOLF: Logan, Eagles win three-team match at Las Vegas National

Luke Logan shot a 5-over-par 76 at Las Vegas National on Tuesday to help Boulder City’s boys golf team to victory in a Sunrise League match.

The Eagles, who also got an 80 from Kyler Atkinson and an 82 from Hunter Ulibarri, shot 411 as a team. Moapa Valley was second at 452. Virgin Valley took third at 472.

Moapa Valley’s Jacob Causey shot 79.

Cougars take Southeast League match

At Tuscany, Bradley Keyer carded an even-par 72, and teammate Grant McKay added a 74 to help Coronado win a Southeast League match.

The Cougars had a team score of 383. Foothill was second at 398, and Basic took third at 425.

Eldorado’s Ryan Manganello was the medalist with a 71.

Foothill’s Andrew Chu shot 72, and teammate Hayden Munns shot 75.

Palmer, Vega pace Centennial

At Paiute, Matthew Palmer and Alex Vega each shot a 6-over 42 as Centennial defeated Cimarron-Memorial, which didn’t have the requisite five golfers.

Dillon Gault added a 43 for the Bulldogs, who shot 223 as a team.

Chris Frazier led the Spartans with a 44.

Gaels top Pahrump

At Mountain Falls, Blake Taylor shot 2-under 70 to lead Bishop Gorman to a 377-415 win over Pahrump Valley.

Frank Frisbee added a 75, and Anthony Lalli shot 76 for the Gaels.

Kyle Steib led Pahrump with a 75.
