GOLF: Palo Verde boys edge Gators

Bradley Collet and Joseph Ender were among four players to share medalist honors with a 1-under-par 35 at Legacy on Thursday to lead Palo Verde’s golf team to a 190-192 win over Green Valley.

Tanner Lish carded a 37 for the Panthers.

Blaise McComb and Grayson Savio each shot 35 for the Gators.

At Painted Desert, Cody Piper and Scott Cunningham each shot 4-over 40 to guide Arbor View to a 212-233 win over Shadow Ridge.

The Mustangs’ Ben Davis was the medalist with a 38, and teammate Tanner Johnson shot 40.
