GOLF: Palo Verde’s Trent shoots 5-under in win over Aggies

Jack Trent carded a 5-under-par 31 at TPC Las Vegas on Wednesday to lead Palo Verde’s boys golf team to a 186-211 win over Arbor View.

Joseph Ender added a 35 for the Panthers.

Cameron Gambini led Arbor View with a 36.

Eagles win Sunrise League match

At Boulder Creek, Luke Logan shot 1-under 71 to lead Boulder City to victory in a Sunrise League match.

Kyler Atkinson added an 83, and Hunter Ulibarri shot 85 for the Eagles, who had a team score of 415. Moapa Valley was second at 544.

Virgin Valley’s Hogan Fowles was second individually with a 79, and Moapa Valley’s Jacob Causey was third at 81.

Crusaders roll to Sunset win

At Aliante, Charlie Magruder shot par 72 to help Faith Lutheran to an easy win in a Sunset League match.

Dallas Haun added a 75 for the Crusaders, who shot 388 as a team.

Spring Valley was second at 453, and Pahrump Valley shot 455.

Sierra Vista’s George Kim, Western’s Raymond Falkenstein and Clark’s Arpepanya Phonsavanth each shot 78.
