GOLF: Trent, Palo Verde take Southwest League match

Jack Trent carded a 4-under-par 68 at Bear’s Best on Monday to lead Palo Verde’s boys golf team to victory in a Southwest League match.

Joseph Ender added a 72, and Bradley Collet shot 74 for the Panthers, who had a team score of 375. Bishop Gorman was second at 378, followed by Shadow Ridge at 450.

Gorman’s Owen Rosebeck carded a 69.

Crusaders win Sunset match

At Las Vegas Golf Course, Robert Gabour shot 1-over 73 to lead Faith Lutheran to victory in a Sunset League Match.

Andrew Boka added a 74 for the Crusaders, who shot 377 as a team. Pahrump Valley was second at 427, and Spring Valley was third at 431.

Sierra Vista’s George Kim was the medalist with a 72.
