ROUNDUP: Baek, Diamondbacks win Southwest League match

Soungjae Baek shot 1-under-par 71 on Monday to lead Desert Oasis’ boys golf team to victory in a Southwest League match at Mountain Falls.

The Diamondbacks shot 389 as a team, nine strokes better than second-place Bishop Gorman. Pahrump Valley (443) was third, followed by Spring Valley (459), Durango (470) and Bonanza (477).

Hayden Munnsa added a 73 for Desert Oasis, and teammate Niko Gonnella shot 74.

Pahrump’s Dorian Patel tied for second at 73, and Bonanza’s Alex Jordan shot 75.

Sky Pointe's Drake Harvey is a member of the Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada boys golf team.
