ROUNDUP: Baeza’s 1-under helps Bulldogs take Southern League match

Ryan Baeza carded a 1-under-par 71 at Boulder City Municipal on Thursday to lead Virgin Valley’s boys golf team to victory in a Class 3A Southern League match.
The Bulldogs added a 79 from Brandon Cohen and an 80 from Kadan Atkin to post a team score of 409. Moapa Valley was second with 439, followed by Boulder City at 451 and Needles at 456.
Moapa Valley’s Marcus Delgadillo shot 78.

Gorman downs Pahrump
At Mountain Falls, Frank Frisbee and Ben Schlitchting each shot a 10-over 82 to lead Bishop Gorman to a 432-455 victory over Pahrump Valley.

The Trojans’ Elliott Owens carded 78 to take medalist honors. Teammate Dorian Patel shot 83.

Glasser sparks Coronado past Foothill
At Tuscany, Julian Glasser shot a 1-over 37 to lead Coronado to a 196-208 win over Foothill.

A.J. McInerney and Christian Pate each added a 38 for the Cougars.
Connor Bodin led Foothill with a 38.
