Roundup: Benjamin Sawaia leads Coronado to Southeast League win

Benjamin Sawaia carded a 4-under-par 68 at Anthem on Tuesday to earn medalist honors and lead Coronado’s boys golf team to victory in a Southeast League match.
Sawaia had seven birdies in his round.
The Cougars, who took the top five spots individually, finished with a team total of 4-under 284. Foothill was second at 334, followed by Silverado at 373.
Coronado’s Ben Sodetz shot 71. Michael Sarro shot 72 for the Cougars, and teammate Dylan Fritz had a 73.
Gorman edges Faith Lutheran
At Canyon Gate, Skyler Ngo shot a 1-under 35 to earn medalist honors and lead Bishop Gorman to a 151-154 win over Faith Lutheran.
Aarjav Patel and Ryan Rasmussen each shot 38 for the Gaels.
Tyler Smerz and Aidan Goldstein each carded a 37 for the Crusaders, and teammate Greg Price added a 38.
Faith Lutheran’s Nick Nigro, playing as an unattached golfer, also shot 38.
