ROUNDUP: Bowers, Crusaders claim Sunset League match

John Bowers shot 9-over-par 81, and Faith Lutheran’s boys golf team took the top four spots Wednesday to capture a Sunset League match at Aliante.

Mitch Conley shot 83 to finish second for the Crusaders, who shot 430 as a team.

Pahrump Valley (463) was second, and Cheyenne (508) was third.

Panthers win Northwest match
At Painted Desert, Brandon Bauman shot 4-over 76 to lead Palo Verde to victory in a Northwest League match.

The Panthers scored 408 as a team to beat Arbor View (426), Shadow Ridge (457), Sierra Vista (522) and Durango (529).

Joe Ender added a 78, and Bradley Collet shot 80 for Palo Verde.

Shadow Ridge’s Ben Davis was second individually with a 77.

Gorman rolls to Southwest win
At Paiute, Bishop Gorman took five of the top six spots en route to victory in a Southwest League Match.

Dylan Garrett shot 8-over 80, and Christian James, Frank Frisbee and Anthony Lalli each shot 81 to lead the Gaels, who shot 406 as a team.

Centennial was second at 440, and Bonanza third at 498.

Bonanza’s Alex Jordan was the medalist with a 76.
