ROUNDUP: Diamondbacks eke out Southwest win on Singharath’s 73

Desert Oasis’ Jay Singharath shot 1-over-par 73 to lead the Diamondbacks to victory Thursday in a Southwest League match at Bear’s Best.

Desert Oasis shot 389. Pahrump Valley was second at 398, and Spring Valley was third at 407.

Pahrump’s Shane Lindemann took medalist honors with a 4-under 68, and teammate Daniel Shimakawa added a 75.

Panthers nip Gators
At Legacy, Nick Roman carded a 1-over 37 to lead Palo Verde to a 198-204 win over Green Valley.

The Gators’ Ryan Green was the medalist with a 36, and teammate Amaan Hussain added a 37.

Sky Pointe's Drake Harvey is a member of the Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada boys golf team.
