Roundup: Drew Warnick helps Panthers win Northwest match

Drew Warnick shot an even-par 72 at Highland Falls on Thursday to lead Palo Verde’s boys golf team to victory in a Northwest League match.

Max Cooper added a 73 for the Panthers, who shot 302 as a team to win by five strokes over Arbor View and six over Faith Lutheran. Shadow Ridge (345) was fourth, followed by Bonanza (428) and Centennial (449).

Arbor View’s Hazen Newman was the medalist with a 5-under 67.

Arjav Patel leads Gorman to Southwest win

At Desert Willow, Arjav Patel shot a 1-under 59 to earn medalist honors and lead Bishop Gorman to victory in a Southwest League match.

Skyler Ngo added a 62, and Leo Torres shot 63 for Gorman, which shot 252 as a team. Desert Oasis shot 274 to finish second and was followed by Sierra Vista (277), Spring Valley (294), Silverado (313) and Clark (331).

Spring Valley’s Adonis LeBlue shot 61.

Blake Schaper, Eagles win Sunrise meet

At Boulder City Municipal, Blake Schaper shot a 1-over 73 to earn medalist honors and lead Boulder City to victory in a Sunrise League match.

Kyle Carducci added an 81, and Dustin Landerman shot 82 for the Eagles, who had a team score of 321. Virgin Valley was second with 360, followed by Moapa Valley (422) and Chaparral (455).

Virgin Valley’s Jeron Dalton shot 83.
