ROUNDUP: Dudley, Johnson lift Panthers to win in Northwest match

Dillon Dudley shared medalist honors Monday with a 1-over-par 73, and teammate Cody Johnson added a 74 to lift Palo Verde’s boys golf team to a Northwest League match win at Canyon Gate.

The Panthers had a team score of 389. Centennial was second at 413, followed by Faith Lutheran at 427 and Arbor View at 429.

Arbor View’s Zane Thomas also carded a 73.

Centennial’s Alec Sailer, Palo Verde’s Errek McClellan and Shadow Ridge’s Ben Davis each shot 78.

Coronado shoots 3-under, downs Desert Oasis
At Highland Falls, Tad Darland carded a 2-under 34 to help Coronado shoot 3-under as a team and defeat Desert Oasis, 177-206.

Julian Glasser and Kenden Slattery each shot 35, and Matt Welch added a 36 for the Cougars.

Desert Oasis’ Soungjae Baek carded a 36.

Wildcats’ Thomas earns medalist honors
At Wildhorse, Las Vegas High’s Zach Thomas shot a 1-over 37 to earn medalist honors in a three-team match.

Boulder City’s Kyle Effertz was second at 38. The Eagles were the only school with a complete team and finished with a team score of 221.

Del Sol’s Matt Biehl carded a 40.
