Roundup: Eldorado’s Matt Manganello wins Northeast League match

Matt Manganello carded a 2-over-par 72 at Los Prados on Wednesday to earn medalist honors in a Northeast League match.

Manganello finished five strokes ahead of Nic Jensen of Las Vegas. Canyon Springs’ Dominic David shot 78.

Vada Williams shot 81 for Rancho, which won the match with a team score of 347. Las Vegas was second at 358. Canyon Springs (469) was the only other school to field a scoring team.

Boulder City wins Sunrise League match

At CasaBlanca, Kevin Phelps carded a 9-over 81 to earn medalist honors and lead Boulder City to victory in a Sunrise League match.

The Eagles shot 342 as a team. Virgin Valley took second at 406. Sky Pointe was third at 436, six strokes better than Chaparral.

Boulder City’s Jackson Wright added an 84, and teammate Kyle Carducci shot 86.

Virgin Valley’s Jeron Dalton was fourth individually with a 90.

Coronado takes Southeast League match

At Revere, Brett Sodetz shared medalist honors with a 1-over 37 and helped Coronado to victory in a Southeast League match.

Sodetz and Foothill’s Noah MacFawn tied for first, one stroke ahead of Liberty’s Justin Opinsky and Coronado’s Benjamin Sawaia.

Coronado finished with a team total of 155. Foothill was second at 161. Liberty took third at 180, followed by Silverado at 192.
