ROUNDUP: Gillip leads Las Vegas to Northeast win

Ray Gillip carded a 4-under-par 52 through 14 holes at Las Vegas National on Thursday to help Las Vegas win a Northeast League match.

The match was called with four holes to play due to darkness.

Las Vegas, which also got a 62 from Adam Perea and a 65 from D.J. Padron, had a team score of 338, nearly 100 strokes better than second-place Rancho (433). Desert Pines (455) was third, followed by Valley (504).

Eldorado’s Giovanni Latty shot a 61.

Chaparral’s Rick Carrillo and Desert Pines’ Josh Nichols each carded a 65.
