ROUNDUP: James guides Gaels to Southwest League win

Christian James shot a 1-over-par 73 at Highland Falls on Monday to lead Bishop Gorman’s boys golf team to an easy victory in a Southwest League meet.

The Gaels, who also got a 76 from Frank Frisbee and a 77 from Bryce McEachern, had a team score of 383. Centennial was second at 428.

Haun, Crusaders roll to Sunset win
At Mountain Falls, Dallas Haun carded an 8-over 80 to lead Faith Lutheran to victory in a Sunset League match.

The Crusaders, who also got an 83 from Alex Church and an 84 from John Bowers, had a team score of 429. Pahrump Valley was second at 453.

Pahrump’s Derek Moore shot 86, and teammate Dalton Beighley added an 88.

Eagles top Wildcats
At Stallion Mountain, Luke Logan and T.J. Hatfield each carded a 4-over 40 to help Boulder City to a 210-241 win over Las Vegas.

The Wildcats’ Trey Jensen was the medalist with a 39.

Cougars edge Gators
At Legacy, Bradley Keyer took medalist honors with a 1-under 35 and led Coronado to a 197-199 win over Green Valley.

Matt Welch added a 38 for the Cougars.

The Gators’ Blaise McComb and Eddie Long each shot 38.
