ROUNDUP: McClellan helps Palo Verde hold off field in shortened Northwest match

Errek McClellan carded an even-par 60 over 15 holes at Badlands on Tuesday to help Palo Verde’s boys golf team claim the win in a Northwest League match.
The match was called after 15 holes for darkness.
Palo Verde, which also got rounds of 66 from Brandon Bauden and Max Hecker, posted a team score of 346. Arbor View and Centennial tied for second at 364, followed by Faith Lutheran at 372.
Arbor View’s Zane Thomas was the medalist with a 57.
Shadow Ridge’s Ben Davis shot 64.
Las Vegas wins Northeast match
At Desert Rose, Kaden Magdaluyo shot a 10-over 81, and teammate Zach Thomas added an 83 to help Las Vegas capture a Northeast League match.
The Wildcats had a team score of 472. Rancho was second at 503, followed by Valley at 519.
Eldorado’s Giovanni Latty claimed medalist honors with a 76.

Rancho’s Chaz Barti shot 83, and Canyon Springs’ Jon Wilborn carded an 84.
McInerney leads Cougars past Diamondbacks
At Anthem, A.J. McInerney was the medalist with a 3-under 33 to help Coronado to a 199-214 win over Desert Oasis.
Julian Glasser added a 38 for the Cougars.
Niko Gonnella paced Desert Oasis with a 36.
Rogers, Falcons top Boulder City
At Boulder Creek, Bailey Rogers shot a 1-under 35 to take medalist honors and help Foothill to a 196-236 win over Boulder City.
Robert Zoucha added a 38 for Foothill, and teammate Conner Bodin shot 39.
