ROUNDUP: McInerney leads Coronado to Southeast meet win

Freshman A.J. McInerney shot 4-under-par 66 Wednesday to lead Coronado to victory in a Southeast League meet at Wildhorse.
Tad Darland added a 68 and Kevin Stratton shot 71 for the Cougars, who posted a team score of 361.
Ryan Green shot 68 for Green Valley, which was second at 385. Foothill (440) was third, followed by Silverado (442), Basic (489), Liberty (496) and Del Sol (510).

Las Vegas edges Desert Pines in Northeast meet

At Sunrise Vista, Ray Gillip shot par 72 to help Las Vegas nip Desert Pines in a Northeast League match.
The Wildcats’ team score of 489 was one stroke better than Desert Pines. Rancho was third at 545.
Las Vegas’ D.J. Padron, Desert Pines’ Josh Nichols, Eldorado’s Giovanni Latty and Chaparral’s Rick Carrillo each carded a 76.

Palo Verde tops Bonanza, Desert Oasis

At Badlands, Palo Verde’s Josh Lomanto shot 1-over 37 to lead the Panthers past Bonanza and Desert Oasis.
Palo Verde finished at 201. Bonanza (212) was second and Desert Oasis (237) third.
Bonanza’s Yongsoo Shin tied Lomanto for medalist honors.
