ROUNDUP: McInerney shoots 7-under as Coronado rolls to Southeast win

A.J. McInerney took medalist honors with a 7-under-par 63 to lead Coronado’s boys golf team to victory in a Southeast League match Tuesday at Wildhorse.

Coronado shot 343 as a team. Green Valley finished second with 382.

McInerney’s round included two eagles and four birdies. He fired a 29 on the front nine.

Coronado’s Tad Darland and Christian Pate, Foothill’s Taylor Montgomery and Green Valley’s Ryan Green all shot 67.

Palo Verde wins Northwest match
At Badlands, Nick Ramen shot par 72 to lead Palo Verde to victory in a Northwest League match.

The Panthers finished at 392, five strokes ahead of Centennial. Faith Lutheran (422) was third and Arbor View (436) came in fourth.

Centennial’s Nick Palmquist tied Ramen for medalist honors.

Las Vegas claims Northeast League match
At Desert Rose, Taylor Jones carded a 9-over-par 80 in leading Las Vegas to a win in a Northeast League match.

The Wildcats finished with 490 to top Rancho (529) and Canyon Springs (562).

Rancho’s Chaz Barti shot 79 to claim medalist honors.
