ROUNDUP: Shimakawa, Pahrump win Southwest match

Daniel Shimakawa carded a 1-under-par 71 at Bear’s Best on Tuesday to lead Pahrump Valley’s boys to a win in a Southwest League match.

Pahrump had a team score of 389. Bonanza was second at 404, followed by Bishop Gorman at 408 and Sierra Vista at 410.

Sierra Vista’s Jacob Pinney and Gorman’s Conner Morris each shot 73.

Coronado edges Centennial
At Paiute, Tad Darland shot par 36 to lead Coronado to a 192-196 win over Centennial.

A.J. McInerney shot 37 and Kevin Stratton 38 for Coronado.

Centennial’s Jake Burton was the medalist with a 35.

Green Valley edges Boulder City

At Legacy, Anthony Sadler shot 2-over 38 to lead Green Valley to a 210-219 win over Boulder City.

Nick Hoffman led Boulder City with a 39.
