ROUNDUP: Shin, Bengals edge Bishop Gorman to win Southwest meet

Yongsoo Shin carded a 5-over-par 77 at Siena to help Bonanza’s boys golf team win a Southwest League match Tuesday.

The Bengals had a score of 407, three strokes better than Bishop Gorman. Pahrump Valley finished at 411 and Sierra Vista at 420.

Pahrump’s Dorian Patel, Gorman’s Nick Sikorski and Sierra Vista’s Jacob Pinney each shot 76. Gorman’s Connor Morris added a 77.

Darland carries Coronado to Southeast victory
At Tuscany, Tad Darland earned medalist honors with a 4-under 68 to help Coronado gain a Southeast League match victory.

Coronado had a team score of 362, followed by Green Valley with 383 and Silverado with 439.

Kevin Stratton added a 70 and Ryan Rom 74 for the Cougars.

Green Valley’s Ryan Green shot 69, and teammate Amaan Hussein added a 74.

Palo Verde defeats Las Vegas
At Badlands, Nick Roman carded a 1-under-par 35 to guide Palo Verde to a 195-232 victory over Las Vegas.

Josh LoManto added a 38 for the Panthers. Ray Gillip led Las Vegas with 36.
