Smith birdied three of the final five holes to win by four strokes over Mojave’s Marcus Mullins.

Pahrump Valley teammates Haden Wray and Michael McDougal each shot 88 to tie for third.

Pahrump easily won the team competition with a score of 362. Western (435) and Desert Pines (518) were the only other schools to field a scoring team.

At Painted Desert, Preston Harris shot 4-over 40 to earn medalist honors and help Arbor View to a 191-193 win over Shadow Ridge.

Bryce Huesch led Shadow Ridge with a 44, and teammate Frank Gunsallus shot 45.

Palo Verde downs Green Valley

At Legacy Golf Club, Michael Salerno shot par 36 to earn medalist honors and help Palo Verde to a 168-208 win over Green Valley.

Max Cooper added a 41, and Drew Warnick shot 45 for Palo Verde.

Thomas Anderson led the Gators with a 45.
