Coronado claims Southeast League golf match

Coronado had the top seven individual finishers and won Thursday’s Southeast League girls golf match at Revere Golf Club’s Lexington course.

The Cougars shot 304 and were led by medalist Sami Penor, who carded a 3-over-par 75. Gabby DeNunzio and Kylie Keyer each shot 76 to tie for second.

Ashley Lung was fourth at 77, while teammates Victoria Estrada and Heidi Moser tied for fifth after shooting 78 for Coronado.

Green Valley finished second at 394, followed by Foothill (435), Basic (533) and Silverado (538).

Katherine Kares led Green Valley with an 86, while Katie Schlichenmayer carded Foothill’s low round with an 88.
