Faith Lutheran fifth after first round of invitational

Faith Lutheran’s girls golf team was fifth after the first round of the Antigua National High School Invitational in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The Crusaders shot 325 as a team, and are 29 strokes behind first place Punahou (Hawaii).

Annie Freman shot 76 to lead Faith Lutheran, and teammate Julia Becker shot 78.

The tournament concludes Saturday.
